If you have dropped in recently you have noticed a lack of activity in the blog. We needed to just take some time after the rushed move, health issues etc. We did not however stop progress here at the farmstead. We have added a small green house, wildflower experimental patch, Cherry Trees, Quince trees, and are continuing on the beekeeping struggle bus! We lost all but one hive in the winter of 24/25, put two new Nuc’s in in the spring and actually took about 2 Gal of honey in July. It appears all hives made it through this winter but one is very very weak. We hope to revamp this site in late spring in preparation of offering some sales of flowers, honey and honey based products. Until then watch for weekly posts!
